What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager position at Physical Therapy Central?
The Office Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the front office, including delegating tasks to team members in order to meet goals set for the clinic.
Some overall job responsibilities include, resolving billing issues, understanding & explaining benefits to patients, collection of co-payments/deductibles, keeping track/handing referrals, and scheduling. Previous history with a working knowledge of insurance benefits, pre-authorization and approvals is preferred.

Requirements:
- Previous administrative or other professional office experience in a medical setting required
- Working knowledge of insurance benefits, deductibles, co-payments related to the delivery of medical care
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general office equipment
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and remain friendly and professional
- Ability and willingness to treat all patients with the utmost kindness and consideration in the most trying situations
- Friendly personality with the desire to work with the public
- Ability to prioritize, organize and use time management skills to follow up on completion of tasks
- Ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic status
Education and/or Experience:
- 1 years managing a medical office preferred.
