HR Generalist

Piazza Auto Group is currently seeking a HR Generalist to join our HR team who enjoys working in a fast paced environment supporting 28 locations across PA and Delaware.

POSITION DETAILS

The HR Generalist provides administrative support to the HR Manager and over 1000 employees across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acts as the liaison between field employees, our HR department and multiple support vendors
• Completes employment verifications, garnishments and unemployment claims
• Places open job posts across multiple platforms and websites
• Ensures accurate entry of employee information into the Paylocity/HRIS
• Monitors the employee benefit programs such as 401K, health benefits and voluntary benefits programs
• Ensures that the onboarding process such as new hire paperwork, 1-9s, background checks, social media checks and driver license checks is completed
• Works with employees to answer their questions and/or requests
• Supports other HR projects, as assigned

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently and as part of a team with minimal direction

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a human resources role is preferred
• SPHR or PHR preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years of Human Resource experience preferred
