Team Member At Picnic (Part Time Or Full Time)

Picnic - a grab and go sandwich, fudge, candy, and coffee shop in Leland, MI - is waiting to meet YOU - our next team member! We have an awesome culture at Picnic, and a wonderful team of cool, kind, inclusive, collaborative contributors - always ready to dive in, help out, spread some positive energy around, and brighten someone's day.

A lot of our team heads back to high school and college in these next few weeks, so we are hoping to add more great team members to join us into the Fall. As a seasonal business, we will likely close our doors at the end of October, but reopen in the Spring, and always love having our team join us again!

Benefits include:

*Part time or Full time positions (1 day...3 days? 5 days work best for you? Let's talk!) *Base (hourly) pay tips (cash and credit tips) *20% discount on all food and merch in the store! *Store hours currently are 10am-9pm Mon-Fri | 8am-9pm Sat-Sun - as a result, we spread shifts out across the day (morning shifts, evening shifts and mid day swing shifts) *After Labor Day, hours will adjust to 10am-6pm (Mon-Sun)

Responsibilities include:

*Daily closing and opening duties (cleaning tables, wiping countertops and cases, mopping, trash, etc) *Working register (Clover POS system - intuitive but don't worry - lots of training and support from your teammates) *Helping customers, scooping ice cream, serving fudge, making drip coffee, and occasionally helping our food team with sandwiches as needed

*Positive attitude - a must! *Collaborative - must enjoy working with others, helping out, diving in when needed *Contributor - offer your ideas, your energy, and your support to your team and customers *No egos here - we're all in this together. No jerks allowed.

We're making sandwiches - not changing the world...BUT we can make a difference in a child's day with a little help at the candy station, help a family make special memories at a beach picnic by offering a sandwich recommendation, or bring joy to a chilly tourist looking for a hot cup of coffee when rain is coming down outside. It's those moments and more that bring on the feel good vibes we love at Picnic.
