About the Role
As an Machine Operator I, you will be working at our manufacturing facility as a key member of our manufacturing team. Your role will include operating production equipment, manual and semi-automatic assembly of components, and component measurement in collaboration with other team members.
We are looking for full-time, permanent help to contribute to our growth. This position is Machine Operator I. Shifts are Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is quality minded.
You will spend significant time working in a Class 8 cleanroom environment producing medical devices and/or components and need to comply with established safety and cleanliness standards. Operating under an ISO 13485 quality system, you will adhere to quality documents, procedures, and work to maintain the cleanliness of the clean room, assigned work cell, and equipment.
To be successful you will conduct your efforts to ensure that production quantity objectives and process yield goals, quality expectations, and on-time delivery requirements are met.
About your Education
· High school diploma or its equivalent.
About Your Skills and Experience
· Two years’ minimum experience working in a manufacturing environment or service industry with fast pace environment is appreciated.
· Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
· Must be able to do perform physical labor, lift 50lbs, work on their feet while using tools to perform repetitive actions.
· Ability to sit or stand for extended period of time.
· Ability to follow and complete good documentation practices.
· Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
· Attention to detail with good hand-to-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
· Perform simple arithmetic functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and mixed numbers.
· Able to use precision measuring equipment such as caliper, micrometer, drop gage etc.
· Able to operate and thrive in a demanding, fast-paced, fluid environment and work overtime when required.
