This position will provide peer recovery support services to individuals at the Peer Center. The peer support specialist will provide outreach, support, and advocacy to assist the participants to access substance abuse recovery supports, employment, and community resources to improve their opportunities to becoming productive members of the community. To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate one year lived recovery experience to substance abuse recovery on your application. The applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Addiction counseling: 1 year (Preferred)
• personal Recovery: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License & Safe driving record (Required)
