PEARL Peer Recovery Support Specialist (Rocky Mounty, VA)

Pay Grade 8: Starting $32,875-36,163 DOE&E

Full time position available as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist for the Pearl Program in Rocky Mount. This program helps pregnant and parenting women navigate recovery, and facilitates a warm hand off to treatment and care at Piedmont Community Services. Peer Recovery Support Specialists also provide non-clinical peer-to-peer activities to empower individuals to improve health, recovery, resiliency, and wellness. To be considered for this position, you must demonstrate one year lived experience of substance use disorder challenges and personal recovery on your application. Virginia Certification as Peer Recovery Support Specialist preferred. The applicant must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Salary is commensurate with education & experience as it relates to the position.
