Service Manager
We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our leadership and production team. As a Service Manager you will sell and manage both commercial and residential service work. You will be required to reach out to customers by phone and in person to present preventive maintenance plans, and inspect/repair any components of the roof, gutters, siding, etc. You will provide quality reports/estimates to the customers and follow up with all service leads daily. You will work with the leadership team to develop and maintain service department KPIs. You will need to have the ability to manage a service team by providing training and coaching daily. You will need to be professional and courteous while always representing the company by providing a high-quality customer experience. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certifications are a plus. Safety is our number one priority, so you will be required to always follow all safety protocols. We need an experienced individual that is extremely motivated and can get started quickly.
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Valid CO driver’s license
- Reliable and consistent transportation
- At least 5 years roofing experience
- Must be proficient using computers
- Must be able to learn and use a CRM (Acculynx)
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have good communication skills
- High level sales skills
- Must have great customer service skills
- Must have the ability to build and maintain a schedule
- No fear of heights
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and get on roofs to identify damage
- Must have a cell phone for labor tracking
Responsibilities:
- Sell and project manage as many profitable residential and commercial service repairs as possible
- Sell as many residential and commercial roof maintenance plans as possible
- Build daily schedule for service team
- Visit service repair project leads and diagnose damage
- Prepare accurate and well written proposals and deliver to customers
- Update pricing in service repair Acculynx templates as necessary
- Build material orders in Acculynx for all service repair projects
- Assist in the hiring and training of new service repair techs
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the service van (Oil changes, tire rotations, etc.)
- Build a yearly schedule for all maintenance repair contracts
- Build and maintain relationships with service clients
- Contact potential clients by all means of contact (phone and in person) to sell service or maintenance work
- Oversee the maintenance of all service-related tools and equipment
- Conduct onsite training for service technicians as needed
- If needed, assist in the completion of large or difficult service repair projects
- Ensure the safety of service techs in accordance with OSHA standards
- Resolve all service department related issues and customer complaints
- Ensure the satisfaction of all service department customers
- Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals for service team to meet in order to meet department goals
- Inspect all service repair projects for quality that meets Pierce Roofing standards
- Attend weekly level 10 leadership meetings
