What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machinist position at PIKEMANN LLC?
Pikemann is seeking a qualified Machinist who can operate various machine tools such as CNC Machines, Mills or Lathes to produce or modify high-quality parts. The ideal candidate for this position should have extensive experience and knowledge of the material and the machining process and should be able to measure and verify dimensions using appropriate measuring devices.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in setting up CNC lathes, horizontal and vertical milling machines.
- At least 3 years of experience in CNC and quality inspection, and CNC programming skills.
- Excellent knowledge of material properties and characteristics.
- Ability to interpret and work from mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, piping & instrumentation drawings and operational instructions.
- Availability to travel for on-site setup, troubleshooting, and repair. International travel may be possible.
- High attention to detail, ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Good problem-solving skills and mathematical skills.
