Pillar Health Pharmacy is a growing independent, closed-door pharmacy that services residents of group homes, long-term care and other nursing care facilities.
We are currently hiring data entry and compliance packaging pharmacy technicians.

Job Duties:
Correctly troubleshoot and bill insurances and patient accounts.
Order entry and follow up on new and refill orders, work queue, physician refill requests, and patient admission into the pharmacy system.
Manages incoming telephone calls to ensure proper action and triage.
Responsible for research, troubleshooting, follow up as it pertains to prescription/patient data entry discrepancies.
Perform basic mathematical and drug dosage calculations.
Positively communicates with all staff to help organize, plan, and coordinate patient care.
Preparation of medications for dispensing, including appropriate product selection, labeling, and repackaging.
Receives medications and supplies, places in stock in pharmacy. Performs monthly audits of pharmacy medication storage areas as assigned.
Ensure that pharmaceuticals/supplies are charged and credited timely/appropriately. Scans records as appropriate; assists with record retention requirements.
Comply with all federal, state, and local regulatory agencies regarding the operation of the pharmacy.
Requirements:
Minimum Education- High School diploma or GED required.
Required Licenses- Pharmacy Technician Certification Required.
Minimum 1 year long term care pharmacy experience.
Must submit to a Background Check and Drug Screening.
Can rotate into Saturday work schedule.
