The Human Resources Assistant/Recruiter is an essential role in any company's growth and expansion. Daily Operations:
- Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database and sorting emails for the HR department
- Maintain proper records of employee attendance and leaves
- Assist HR Director in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration
- Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule job interviews
- Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
- Mentor employees through personal and professional issues
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, monthly invoicing, and vendor management
- Administer anniversary gift program
- Respond to verification of employment requests
- Track and report on people metrics including new hires, retention, EEO reporting, etc
- Contributing to the company's culture and acting as a culture ambassador
- Support HR Director with scheduling and calendar
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of human resources or related experience with full cycle, professional level recruiting experience
- Able to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge, and multiple deadlines/priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
