Sales Service Manager

With roots in northeast Indiana, we are a family-owned company that has been raising and processing organic and all-natural chicken with the help of local farm families for over 30 years. We are vertically integrated and oversee every process within the company, from our chicks hatching at our family-owned hatchery, being placed within our community of more than 180 farm families, to owning two feed mills that process our corn and soybean meal mixture. We do our best to source our feed ingredients from local farmers to minimize our carbon footprint. POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for monitoring competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Participates in advertising and promotion activities
• Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy
• Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities
• Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
• Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events
• Represents company at trade shows and meetings to promote product
• Coordinating liaison between sales department and other production units
• Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
• Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers
• Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
• Respond to complaints within 24 hours or sooner
• Assist in sales presentations with new customers and market level training with existing clients
• Demo products at the store level or trade shows
• Monitor and give product quality feedback on company brands and competitor’s products
• Provide Daily Service reports, weekly summaries and monthly expense reports

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or university) Preferred
Experience: 5 years Meat Manager, Lead cutter or equal experience Preferred

Computer Skills: Basic working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point
