This is no small job: Our General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the operation of the hotel, providing leadership and strategic planning to all departments to support or service culture, maximize operations and enhance guest satisfaction. Were looking for someone who will lead the staff by example, fostering a strong, cohesive team environment that builds confidence and strong morale while maintaining high retention. But thats not all. Here are a few more of the lofty tasks you will be charged with on a daily basis:

Monitoring the full range of operations and financial performance of the hotel while providing operational guidance to leaders and team members.

Ensuring financial success of the hotel by managing expenses, controlling labor costs, and assuming overall responsibility for revenue management.

Conferring with administrative personnel to review activity, operating and sales reports to determine changes in programs and/or operations.

Facilitating the alliance between central reservations, group sales and property marketing efforts to support effective revenue and yield management principals.

Accepting responsibly for the health, safety and welfare of hotel guests and team members.
Where Youve Been:
Were looking for someone with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Hotel Management or equivalent experience. Must have a minimum of seven years varied management experience in the hotel industry and fluently speak, read and understand English. You should also be familiar with OSHA, local Department of Health regulations and relevant current laws governing handling of hazardous substances.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year.
