Pinkerton Academy is seeking lunch monitors. The lunch monitor will be needed five days a week for up to two hours a day (10:45-12:35) to support an orderly lunch program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting administrators and school security by communicating with students, notifying the school nurse or administration in case of a student injury, and effectively carrying out routines and procedures in the cafeteria by responding appropriately to student behaviors consistent with the school discipline policy; promoting and encouraging good table manners, and promoting a positive cafeteria environment.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience working with children is desirable.
