Summary:

Assistant manager supports the clinic manager on all aspects of running a medical clinic, to include all front and back office staff, billers, providers, and partners. Supports the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring patients and customers receive quality service through all channels of customer contact. Participate and assist in analyzing patient volume to optimize staffing for delivery of timely, efficient health care in order to achieve established service level requirements. Supports and assists to develop and implement strategies that support the vision of Pinnacle HealthCare to ensure quality and revenue goals are achieved. Hire qualified employees, effectively manager performance of staff.

Job Duties

Ensure quality and patient/customer satisfaction are achieved and continually improved upon while providing excellent health care.

Assist in ensuring productivity measures are met and/or exceeded. Productivity measure include; complete patient care, all patent callback and paperwork are complete, charts are cosigned, patient coding/charges and billing is accurate and complete, specialty referrals are reviewed, workers’ comp procedures are followed accurately, and revenue billed. Ensure utilization is maximized to achieve net staffing requirements.

Assist in developing staff to recognize and react to opportunities for improvement as applies to the clinic center site.

Supervise the training of new employees on EHR system and clinic policy and procedures.

Supervise and reconcile over-the-counter accounts receivables, including checks and personal payments.

Prepare and verify accuracy of all bank deposits for courier and place all change orders as necessary.

Assist with quality assurance program and refer to the QA team as necessary

Prepare the front office work schedule or assigns this task to Lead Reception.

Supervise the medical record processes.

Streamline and increase efficiencies of front and back office procedures.

Work to create teamwork between business units to ensure efficient and consistent, seamless service to our patients/customers.

Support the couching and career development of staff. Provides leadership, guidance and direction needed to improve professional skill sets.

Demonstrate professionalism and ensure adherence to Human/Labor Relations guidelines are met at all times. Promote a positive, safe work environment for all employees and repot any concerns to direct manager or Human Resources as soon as identified.

Ensures the maintenance/cleanliness of clinic through staff and/or outsourced agency.

Supervise HIPPA per policy and documents and reports violations to senior management.

Supervisory Responsibilities. This job requires supervisory responsibilities. The front and back clinic supervisor report directly to the clinic manager. The Clinic Manager may supervise other ancillary staff members.

Education/Experience. Licensed Vocational Nurse required with 3 years’ experience in a related field required. Minimum of three years in a customer contact operation business, and/or related supervisory experience. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skill required. Demonstrated ability to lead in customer based business. Analytical skills and experience with Excel, Word, and Power Point required. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
