We are seeking a well-rounded, energetic, reliable, and friendly Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience answering phones, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, connecting with patients in person, a passion for working in the medical/hearing care industry, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will need to be extremely detail-oriented and professional while speaking with people on the phone and in person.

Duties:

Clinic Management Responsibilities:

• Opening/closing of clinic daily
• Cleanliness of office and area outside office (Works with technician to rotate trash routine and cleaning routine)
• Organize office, maintain supplies and ensure accurate patient files.
• Opening and handling of mail.
• Process payments, collects patient balances.
• Keeping Clinic reports up to date and submitted: payment log
• FedEx/UPS drop offs
• Weekly invoicing

Patient Care Duties:

• Scheduling patients, confirming appointments. Greeting patients. Ensures patients flow through the system as efficiently as possible. Escorte’s patients to treatment rooms.
• Confirms all paperwork is completed and updated, entered into the database.
• Manages Schedule, keeps opportunity appointments full.
• Performs reactivation calls.
• Checks voicemail messages and returns calls.
• Manages fax portal, communicates with techs and providers promptly on important manners
• Thank you/Sympathy cards
• Assist Patients with Wells Fargo/Care Credit/AR Rehab applications
• Requesting physician orders/Medicare orders
• Assist the insurance specialist in insurance verifications.
• Troubleshoot Bluetooth issues for patients as needed, minor hearing aid cleanings.
• Receive all deliveries, including hearing aids and check them into CE.
• Maintains detailed knowledge of service and professional costs related to products and repairs.

Typical Weekly Schedule:

Hours may vary depending on the daily workload, community events, and the needs of the owner.

Monday through Thursday Friday

8:00 to 12:00 8:00 to 2:00

1:00 to 5:00 30 min lunch

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour
