What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Analyst position at Pinnacol Assurance?

What you’ll do:
Support Company’s strategic product goals by analyzing data, to evaluate products and forecast performance. Supports product teams in their product decisions using quantitative data to inform the next steps. Utilizing market research to identify product opportunities that align with customer needs.
What you can expect:
- Act as liaison to product stakeholders to identify needs, enhance and increase the effectiveness of a product
- Execute baseline evaluation for metrics - support product organization in understanding the current state of a capability to evaluate progress post delivery
- Analyze internal customer feedback, complaints, and surveys to identify potential improvements to existing products or services or potential new products or services and partner with Marketing for external customer experience analysis
- Product performance including product flow analytics and up/downtime
- Develop or adopts research tools, sources, and methods that further support and contribute to product success and optimization
- Recommend efforts based on observed usage and metrics - based on monitoring of product usage and metrics, provide recommendations of capabilities that would have a positive impact on business outcomes
- Document existing business processes and relationship to systems to build knowledge base content enhancing the speed of issue resolution and knowledge sharing
- Produces reports and makes recommendations to be used as guidance in decision making pertinent to the business’s new as well as existent products in a partnership with Marketing where external customers are analyzed.
- Identify where more insights are needed - Upon evaluation of the metrics, determine if there are additional measures that need to be implemented to tell the full story of the capability effectiveness and impact
- Evaluate the company products and compare them against industry trends.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Collaborates with the team to continuously improve its internal practices and processes to build predictability and efficiencies
- Develop and oversee small to medium scale projects and POCs
- Provide assistance with product and rating reviews
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you need to be successful:
Experience translating business and innovation objectives into specific tactical system development plans with the ability to define, measure, and improve key product metrics
Experience in an agile product development environment is strongly preferred, with responsibility for activities such as identifying opportunities, supporting a product roadmap, contributing to the creation of business cases, driving execution activities, and measuring results.

The compensation amount for this role is targeted at $76,250 - $81,700. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including your experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
