What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Room Supervisor position at PINSTACK?
Our entertainment venue, PINSTACK, features a full-service restaurant offering a chef-inspired menu featuring local and regional cuisine, a full bar and private dining area, as well as state-of-the-art bowling lanes with lane-side food and beverage service.
PINSTACK also features a two-level laser tag arena, a rock climbing wall, bumper cars, and a high-ropes course suspended 20 feet above 100 of the newest video games and simulator technology. With multiple areas for hosting groups, including a VIP bowling lounge and private event spaces with private bowling lanes, PINSTACK is equipped to host multiple events, parties, and corporate events as well.
With all those moving parts, we are looking for a strong leader to assist our managers in running the game room/bowling aspect of our business and can take on the responsibility of being in charge of the safe and can accurately count money before and after shifts. Will that be you?
Primary Job Duties:
- Responsible for executing cash close-outs for all servers, bartenders, and cashiers.
- Balances tills and aprons to reports in Point of Sales system and collects cash.
- Puts together daily cash deposits for bank.
- Assigns appropriate equipment (I-Pads, Radios, etc.) to Team Members.
- Coordinates, supervises, and trains new cashiers
- Assist in other departments as needed.
- Attends all department and company meetings as required.
- Punctuality is mandatory.
- Assist in maintaining department inventory within the cash office.
- Ability to maintain currency supplies on a weekly basis.
- Assist with team member scheduling per labor templates.
- Assist with periodic deep cleaning and enforcing opening/closing procedures.
- Manages shift operations (cash control, safety, quality control, etc.).
- Maintains uniform standards and a professional appearance for all team members.
Requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time with frequent bending and turning.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Early Morning and Late Night Hours.
Special Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Obtain training certification per company policy
- 1-2 years prior cash handling experience in a restaurant or retail
- Must be trustworthy, detail oriented, an effective communicator
- Ability to resolve cash handling discrepancies.
- Ability to Multi-task for multiple departments
