Summary:
This position will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers are promptly and professionally served. This position will also be responsible for providing comprehensive banking products and services to customers of Pioneer Bank & Trust.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Aides in the development of new relationships to Pioneer Bank & Trust; including follow-up to determine if additional needs of the customer are met.
· Prepares and collects compliant applications and forms for consumer and commercial deposit products, i.e., checking, money market, savings, HSA & IRA accounts, etc.
· Resolve customer account issues by means of research and analysis.
· Perform regular maintenance and servicing of accounts.
· During conversation with customers, performs a needs assessment of PB&T products and services.
· Maintains contact with existing customers.
· Actively cross sells PB&T ancillary products above and beyond new account “order taking” products could include but are not limited too; debit cards, overdraft lines of credit, online banking with Direct pay, Cash Management, etc.
· Coordinates and assists back office personnel in various processes.
· Actively refers customers and prospects to the various bank departments, including but not limited to, Trust, Brokerage, Commercial Lending and Mortgage Departments of PB&T.
· Actively refers customers and prospects to various bank approved service providers.
· Provides teller services as needed.
· Some travel may be required.
· Actively involved in Community Programs.
· All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate level computer skills and Microsoft Office experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of banking products (checking, money market, savings, IRA accounts, etc.)
- Attention to detail
- Adaptable
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior banking experience preferred
