Essential Functions

  • Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to the team
  • Motivate, coach, train, and mentor direct reports to ensure constant personal growth and career development
  • Delegates and assigns work to the team to ensure that daily responsibilities and assigned tasks are complete and maintained per performance standards
  • Creates work schedules
  • Enforce and maintain safety protocols within work location
  • Liaison between employees and management to effectively communicate the needs of both groups to one another
  • Identify training needs/issues, and support the development, implementation, and assessment of on-going training programs
  • Analyze and evaluate individual performance and productivity
  • Training and on-going development of new hires, ensuring necessary tools and information are in place to achieve success
  • Exhibit strong team building skills through goal-setting, motivation and follow up to reach those goals
  • Define and ensure exceptional customer service key performance indicators
  • Enforce all timekeeping compliance (meal/rest periods, real-time timekeeping, timecard submissions and approvals)

Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate degree or higher preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role required
  • Contractor’s License from state of California; or must attain a contractor’s license within 6-12 months upon hire to remain in role.
  • Ability to supervise and lead others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, able to use other basic functions of computer

Supervisory Responsibility

  • *This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment*
This role is a field function involved in managing and overseeing quantity and quality of work of each of the installer teams on job sites. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, computer programs, smartphones, and photocopiers.

Physical Demands*
The physical demands are as described, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work*

  • *Team member must be available during days/times when installations are scheduled. This is generally a Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekend availability required to meet productivity peaks/fluctuations.
