What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trainer position at PL Developments?
Qualifications:
Minimum two (2) years previous experience as a trainer, manufacturing trainer, or related position including participation in creating and implementing training programs in a manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical experience a plus).
Associates degree preferred in Business Administration, Education, or a related field preferred, length of training experience can be considered in the place of degree.
Knowledge of AV equipment to include but not limited to interactive white boards and display systems, projectors, and laptops
Bilingual English/Spanish
Proficient in MS Office, also experience with manufacturing related software such as Agile a plus.
Responsibilities:
Deliver OJT courses in areas of manufacturing, skills, processes, quality systems/GMP practices requirements, and other subjects as requested.
Work with SME’s and Operations Supervisors and Managers to assess strengths and weaknesses of new employees’ performance and identify areas for further development.
Assess SME’s training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior.
Assist Training Supervisor in tracking key metrics of the training program including monitoring and updating Oracle Agile System if needed.
Comply with cGMP, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions. Become familiar with operational quality and safety processes for the plant.
Work with Training Supervisor to coordinate plant trainings including preparing materials, scheduling training times by shift and department, distributing training aids, and performing presentations.
Support orientation training for new hire employees during onboarding process by conducting training that follows cGMP, company, local, state, and federal requirements.
Ability to translate English training material into Spanish.
Drive the PLD culture through training, development, caring for people, and guiding new members to embrace PLD values.
Perform other duties assigned by Training Supervisor.
Ability to present training course material to team members individually or in a group setting.
Ability to work in a team environment, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
Able to stand, climb stairs, and walk production area throughout the workday.
A firm understanding of cGMP and Quality requirements.
OSHA 10 or 30 Certified a plus
CPR/AED Certified a plus
Powered Industrial Truck experience a plus
