- Demonstrating outstanding internal and external service in accordance with “ACES” program guidelines
- Overseeing the operations and team members of the Food & Beverage department
- Ensuring self and all other required staff are trained and certified through TIPS training
- Overseeing all opening and closing shift transitions
- Collaborating with other support departments to improve guest service
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints about food and beverage quality and service
- Ensure that all working areas of Food & Beverage comply with company and government sanitation, health, safety and local liquor regulations.
- Contributing to general business planning regarding technology and systems required to maintain property operations
- Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol, intervening as needed according to established practices
- Conducting and attending departmental and company meetings
- Performing in alignment with all departmental and company policy and applicable laws
- Interviewing, hiring, training or overseeing the training of team members
- Planning, scheduling, assigning and directing work
- Rewarding and disciplining team members
- Maintaining accurate departmental records
- Addressing and resolving guest and team member complaints
- Promptly reporting and resolving legal/compliance matters

- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Two years direct management experience
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English
- Strong working knowledge in the food and beverage industry; restaurant, bar, or banquets.
- Ability to maintain responsible alcohol service certification
- Ability to communicate via written and verbal formats
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests and team members
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Ability to perform statistical analyses
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to work all shifts and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
