Executive Sales Assistant

Job Summary:

Our sales and customer service company (25 people) is seeking a sales assistant that will primarily be assisting the owner with sales, project management, clerical duties, and marketing. As a small business we are looking for a candidate that is well rounded and ready to take on any job that comes their way. This person will serve as a point of contact for customers with questions about products, orders and deliveries, provide support for sales representatives, and more. They will also be heading up project management for sample development projects. This person should have a good business background in regards to order processing, and international logistics. A core competency must be organizational skills and multi-tasking in a fast paced sales environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary assistant to the owner in a sales support and project management capacity
  • Respond to customer emails and phone calls in regards to handling orders, issues, and other inquiries
  • Liaise with our China factory to get product delivery dates for customers
  • Send samples to customers by entering request; arranging shipment; and notifying customer
  • Collaborate with the sales staff to monitor active purchase orders and make sure that orders are completed on time
  • Project management including new product development
  • Maintain sales manager schedules and customer follow ups through CRM
  • Contribute to the ‘team’ and possess the responsibility to take on an ever-changing list tasks as they arise

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong e-commerce and technology understanding
  • An administrative or sales background (2 years’ administrative or sales support experience required)
  • Organizational skills and multi-tasking ability a must
  • Ability to prioritize own workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Well versed in IT software such as Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Business background

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
