Description
Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho (PPGWNI) is looking for an energetic and versatile Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our team in Pasco! The HCA is the first person our patients see when they visit us, and create the first impression of our health centers. Our HCA's are experts at providing excellent internal and external customer service and exhibit exceptional verbal communication skills.
Duties include patient check-in and check-out with attention to detail throughout the process; verify insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, providing information, materials and supplies. Must be self-motivated; demonstrate a responsible work ethic and reliability. People who excel in this role are compassionate, proactive, meticulous and organized, comfortable with change, and are motivated by a genuine desire to make a positive, lasting impact in the lives of our patients and community.
This is a full-time position (37.5/week) working Monday-Friday, and our schedule balances the needs of our staff with those of our patients. This position does require travel to our other health centers 25% of the time, but will be home-sited at our Pasco Health Center.
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is an essential requirement of working at PPGWNI religious and medical exemptions will be considered upon request.
