Seasonal Garden Center Merchandiser
Are you an independent, hard-working, detail orientated, plant-loving enthusiast? If this describes you, Plant Partners wants you to join our diverse team! We are hiring part-time temporary, Garden Center Merchandisers to work in local Lawn and Garden Departments for our 2022 spring season.
Enjoy your spring and summer outside moving and unloading vendor carts, consolidating, and organizing plants into attractive displays and helping to execute special projects and resets.
Our operating hours are between 6 am to 8 pm, including weekends and shifts are typically 2-6 hours.
Basic Qualifications:
· Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
· Ability to safely work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
· Merchandising experience and plant knowledge is a plus, but a great attitude is more important
· Must be at least 18 years old and pass post job offer background check
Physical Requirements:
· Able to work in a fast-paced physically demanding environment
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout shift
· Ability to walk, bend, stoop, reach and stand for 4 hours a day
· Pushing, pulling, and rolling heavy shipping carts
· Must be able to climb ladders/portable stairways
· Must be able to work in all weather conditions around soil, plants, and possible allergens
