The Assistant Manager position will be based in our Eureka, CA location!
For the state of California only, the pay range is $22.54 to $29.30, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law. Commission/Bonus Plan: Platt Branch Pool Plan
Summary
The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the branch and is acting manager in the absence of the Branch Manager. Responsible for inventory management, accounts payable, vender returns, equipment and vehicles, and the overall safety of the branch.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the branch and is acting manager in the absence of the Branch Manager
- Responsible for Inventory Management to include cycle counting, daily stock replenishment, inventory adjustments, and stocking codes and locations
- Responsible for the overall safety of the branch by reporting, monitoring, and correcting safety hazards
- Provide customer service at the counter or over the phone
- Maintain company vehicles by scheduling maintenance and repairs
- Assist the Branch Manager with coaching and supporting employees
- Train employees
- Provide Sales support through quotations
- Maintain a clean and organized branch
- Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need
- High School or GED
- 1 years of Branch experience with demonstrated success involving increasing levels of responsibility is preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office and the Web
- Must have electrical product knowledge and a general understanding of inventory management
- Must be sales and service oriented, self-motivated, dependable, and possess excellent leadership and customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems and process reports
