The Media Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day management of media related tasks internal to PlowShare, in coordination with partner agencies and subcontractors, as well as select clients. This person should have foundational knowledge of traditional and digital media experience as they will be a primary contact for the clients. In addition to maintaining primary responsibilities that include administrative tasks in relationship to daily media management.
Responsibilities:
Internal Operations, Tactics and Strategy
- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of campaigns (updating budgets, coordinating billing, invoicing and insertion orders with finance, regular flowchart updates, campaign timeline management, post-buy analyses, etc.).
- Manage and prioritize timelines and media process management for set up and implementation of media campaigns such as creative traffic, data transfers, template management, and other items.
- Provide insight and regular communication on media planning and media strategy across multiple clients and campaigns
- Partner on campaign planning and media recommendation development
- Leads the execution of approved media plans, maintains close relationship with publishers
- Maintains the integrity of the client’s brand and communication strategies throughout all executions. Contributes strategically to brand positioning and marketing plans. Solid knowledge of clients’ strategic drivers and objectives.
- Conduct research through syndicated tools in relationship to client initiatives. This includes target audience profile development (demographic, psychographic and media usage habits) via MRI.
- Oversee media reporting and campaign data analysis for media campaigns while leading quality control lead for media campaigns to ensure any troubleshooting items are identified and resolved
Cross-collaboration and Client Relationship
- Work closely with digital buying teams to monitor and optimize digital campaign performance. This requires an understanding of programmatic buying models for digital video and display.
- Work closely with the creative agency to ensure creative clearance and trafficking timelines are properly managed for on/offline buys.
- Attend and lead status meetings with partner agencies and clients – manage meeting notes and action items
- Collaborate with national and local broadcast (TV/Radio) buying teams to develop planning cost outs, buy specs and delivery (Reach/Frequency/GRP) analysis.
- Regular collaboration with social media team
- Develop media relationships with Groupe partner agencies, subcontractors and relevant vendor partners
- Proactively identifies/resolves/escalates campaign execution issues in a timely manner
- Manage negotiations and buy orders with print, OOH and place-based media vendors.
- Explore media marketplace for potential PlowShare media partnerships
- 5-7 years of experience in media planning, agency experience is a strong plus.
- Ability to build relationships, lead, and communicate across work groups.

- Able to lead clients through media programs and address media related questions
- Professional, articulate, mature in all aspects of client relationship building
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills. Ability to write clear, cohesive, client-ready documents. Strong written and verbal interaction with internal teams (marketing, other capabilities, outside vendors).
- Well versed in vendor landscape, ensures core technologies are being evaluated and drives agency POVs,
- Understands clients’ business and goals & how they translate into media strategy
- Establishes planning and buying point-of-contact relationships with key media vendors
