Job Posting for Talent Acquisition Specialist at PLUMMER
As we continue to grow, Plummer is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Human Resources Team. This position will partner with all levels across the organization to develop innovative and proactive recruiting strategies, with a strong emphasis on recruiting the best engineering and scientific talent to join Plummer. This role will play an integral role in the growth of Plummer. Ideally, we are seeking a candidate within commuting distance of the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
This position will assist with the following duties:
Strategically partner with leadership and operate as a trusted advisor to understand hiring needs, develop targeted recruitment plans, accomplish hiring goals and make data driven decisions.
Engage with the best external talent and build candidate pipelines for active and passive candidates through proactive networking and relationship building.
Responsible for maintaining external platforms such as really, LinkedIn, Paycor Recruiting, Glassdoor, Handshake, etc. and collaborate with vendors/support teams to maintain excellent working relationships and address concerns.
Oversee and coordinate the recruiting program in tandem with additional HR teammates including applicant tracking system, employee referrals, recruitment projects, initiatives, improvements, updates, etc.
Provide expertise to supporting HR staff members and hiring managers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Maintain working knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day posting, interviewing, and selection of candidates, ensuring compliance with shifting regulations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
Remain current in the latest passive and active candidate talent acquisition techniques, practices, and talent pipeline development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or a commensurate combination of post-secondary education and professional experience.
8 years of relevant talent acquisition experience.
Experience managing an ATS system.
Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry or Professional Services experience is a plus.
Proven experience filling roles at all levels including executive leadership roles.
Highly proficient in behavioral interview techniques and practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders.
Travel less than 10%, occasionally to attend college career fairs and other necessary meetings.
Ability to work in a team to provide an exceptional level of customer service to staff.
Passion for driving results and achieving recruiting goals.
