We are hiring a Maintenance Manager in Pacific, MO to be responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance operations for all production lines and auxiliary equipment, ensuring the department and operation are run in a cost effective, safe and efficient manner with the highest degree of up-time and reliability. This position is onsite and works closely with the engineering staff on new capital project implementation within the facility (automation, new equipment and overhauls).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure facility is operated and maintained cost effectively and safely, in accordance with the approved budget(s), customer requirements and governmental regulations
- Review all maintenance / equipment repair related expenditures, and contribute to preparation of operating budget
- Manage departmental budget and track key performance indicators, develop scope and negotiate pricing and contracts with equipment and service providers
- Hire, manage and develop maintenance team with assistance from supervisor or lead hands
- Educate, train, monitor, and proactively coach maintenance team, ensure proper training and retention mechanics for maintenance professionals.
- Oversee implementation of corrective actions arising from Safety, Quality and other audit activity and promote adherence to GMP standards; develop and manage adherence to SOP
- Work with broader leadership team and peers to utilize or share best practices across all facilities
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years in a similar role within manufacturing
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and SAP is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with production processes, particularly in aerosol manufacturing
- Working knowledge of basic electricity , intermediate welding and the fundamentals of air logic as well as industrial power systems and industrial & control system wiring
