POSITON SUMMARY

PM Environmental, a Pinchin Company, is seeking a Phase I ESA Project Manager to join our Due Diligence team in our Berkley, Michigan office. As a Phase I ESA Project Manager. you will play a key role in evaluating properties for potential environmental risks and liabilities.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

The Phase I EAS Project Manager is responsible for the following primary functions:

• Completion of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM E1527 and related environmental due diligence projects.
• Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand and manage the project goals, timeline, and milestones.
• Manage project profitability by ensuring appropriate budgeting/pricing and utilization of resources and cost controls.
• Be a public relations ambassador by being proactive in presenting and communicating the capabilities and strengths of the company to all publics.
• Communicate and present potential new business or resource information, competitive situations, or technology/regulatory factors to Due Diligence leadership.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Environmental Consulting; experience with Phase I ESAs Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to work in various settings and climates.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must have keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours and be available for travel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The employee is occasional required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, and the ability to pass a company physical.
