Position Overview:
A PMA Program Director is usually the first point-of-contact for a prospective student and their family at a PMA studio. The Program Director must be friendly, professional, personable and approachable to ensure prospective students have an overwhelmingly positive initial impression of our studio. Our Program Director must be detailed, organized, efficient and proficient.
The ideal candidate understands how to transfer the long-term values of Martial Arts into his/her community one student at a time. This Program Director will work with the Lead Instructor and Owner to develop and provide a “best in class” experience for PMA students, families and staff. Our goal is to be the #1 Martial Arts provider in the area! Opportunity to GROW in this role as we plan to open more studios in the future.
Program Director Key Expectations:
- 5 days initial training at Corporate Headquarters (Knoxville, TN)
- Overall Marketing for the PMA School
- Execute lead generation systems process and follow up
- Conduct introductory martial arts lessons for prospective students
- Assist in motivating and building professional relationships with the students and families
- Deliver new membership and upgrade monthly goals
- Follow and complete daily task and business statistics tracking and reporting
- Oversee the overall experience of our students
- Conduct placement tests and evaluations for upgrade conferences
- Ensure the facility is clean, and safe, upholding PMA brand standards
- Event planning and execution: Birthday Parties, Parent’s Night Out, Buddy Bash, etc.
- Execute local marketing and community outreach events
- Collaborate with local schools and education leaders and stakeholders
- Schedule, promote and conduct all in-school events
- Represent Premier Martial Arts at community events
- Complete on-going training in Premier Martial Arts skills and systems
Required Experience, Skills and Mindset:
- Prior sales and marketing experience with membership sales, fitness studio preferred
- Outgoing, friendly team player with commitment to “Empowering Lives Through Martial Arts”
- Dedicated/Hard Working/Self-Starter
- Great communicator and prepared to become a PMA Brand Ambassador (aka “Bleed Green”)
- Previous customer service experience a plus
- Experience and enjoy instructing kids
- Excited to learn and uphold PMA brand standards and customer first focus
- Entrepreneurial Spirit
- Optimistic, Continuous Learning and Adaptable outlook
- Martial Arts Experience is not required but a plus
- Criminal background check required

Pay: $36,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
