General Summary:
Responsible for preparing and selling food and beverage products in assigned concession stand area. Greets customers, fills orders, and processes sales and money transactions.
Job Description:
- Demonstrates and embodies the PMI Entertainment Group Culture and Customer Service values.
- Responsible for preparing and selling food and beverages for various events in the Resch Center/Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Complex. Maintains a quality and consistent presentation of food products as directed by the Food & Beverage department staff.
- Handles product sales transactions in the assigned concessions stand. Completes payment transactions in accordance with proper procedures.
- Provides superior customer service.
- Maintains a clean and presentable work area.
- Creates a positive work environment.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of sales at a level normally acquired through completion of a high school education.
- Approximately three to six months of previous food and beverage experience to gain an understanding of food preparation, sales, and customer service.
- Analytical skills needed to process cash.
- Interpersonal skills required to maintain positive customer relations with clients when gathering and exchanging information.
- Knowledge of good housekeeping practices in areas where food is stored, prepared, served, or dispensed.
- Must be proficient in operating and maintaining a variety of kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, grills, etc.
- Ability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedule.
- Requires standing for extended periods of time.
- Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to read numbers.
- Requires hearing within normal range to communicate with staff and customers.
- Occasional high stress work when dealing with customers and peak service volumes.
- Requires working in a fast-paced environment with irregular hours, as dictated by schedule of events.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers. Ability to give, receive, and analyze information and process complex orders.
- Must understand people and be able to communicate effectively with them.
