Job Summary
As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department by implementing various HR programs and processes to ensure the organization's human capital is effectively managed.
Responsibilities
- Data Entry
- Filing
- Review payroll shift reports
- Process sick pay and vacation requests
- Generate Leave, including but not limited to: FMLA, OFLA, Paid Leave OR, in house medical/personal leaves
- Hire
- Process Applications
- Call Applicants
- Answer phones
- Answer employee questions
- Assist in yearly organizing of Hearing tests
- Assist in yearly organizing of First Aid Classes and Bloodborne Pathogen Classes
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of human resources principles
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees
- Knowledge of FMLA, employment & labor law, and talent acquisition
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
