Roles & Responsibilities:
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a strategic thinker driven to solve problems and build effective content solutions from the ground-up within a rapidly growing, unique organization. With storytelling, strategic and data driven insights, this role will actively enforce and express our brand promise while building deep connections with our customers, prospects, and partners. You will be responsible for assisting in outlining, editing, and executing content strategies that drive traffic and generate leads for two funnels of our dual-sided commercial marketplace: enterprise-level sales leads and Veteran’s Affairs. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and public relations to create and execute content initiatives.
Key areas of expertise include building the content strategy with a strong voice with expectations for innovative ideas. You will be responsible for determining which formats best communicate various types of content, identifying ways to increase brand awareness, design and execute content initiatives to ensure utmost success throughout each stage of the sales funnel which includes but is not limited to, inbound/outbound (ABM) lead generation, nurturing, sales enablement, product/solution marketing, social media content, thought leadership, and blog posts.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Consider content from a holistic standpoint – systems, platforms, and channels – to create a unified narrative and user experience that delivers on conversion.
- Use journey mapping and design thinking to innovate and solve problems.
- Seek out and use data and customer insights to inform content strategies.
- Synthesize complex concepts into simple, understandable, and relatable content.
- Create and persuasively communicate content plans to key stakeholders.
- Lead content review sessions
- Develop content with a goal for continuous optimization.
- Perform gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and is needed.
- Create, adjust, and manage the editorial calendar.
- Set objectives and KPIs for content quality, effectiveness, SEO, awareness, impressions, and conversions, .com visits, etc.
- Develop end-to-end user journeys across the sales ecosystem for optimal experience and conversion for a wide array of personas.
- Contribute to social campaigns establishing our voice and personality to build credibility with our audiences.
- Develop metrics that monitor engagement KPIs to forecast, track, and analyze marketing initiatives to ensure we are optimized to exceed performance targets.
- Work closely with VP Marketing, Commercial Sales, Senior Growth Marketer to drive pipeline.
Qualifications:
Required
- 5 plus years B2B brand management, content marketing, and thought leadership.
- Developed B2B content and communications programs that deliver on strong content marketing methods, blended with powerful thought leadership and brand efforts to differentiate our solution within an emerging category.
- Comprehend the power of strategic SEO.
- A successful track record of executing programs with cross-functional virtual teams.
- Proven knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to thoughtfully articulate strategy, results, and best practices to all levels of the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or related field required.
