Job Summary:
Point Blank Distributing is seeking a knowledgeable sales team member who is passionate about the craft beer/beverage industry. The individual in this position will call on the current customer base and identify opportunities to build and expand territory through direct interaction, past relationships and cold calling.
The ideal candidate must:
- Be 21or over and able to lift up to 165 lbs.
- Be friendly and professional when working with coworkers, customers and suppliers
- Provide outstanding customer service to all accounts
- Be self-motivated with a proven ability to influence people
- Adhere to and follow all company policies, procedures and governmental regulations
- Must be flexible with hours
- Be responsible, organized and punctual
- Be very detail oriented with paperwork
- Beer and beverage industry knowledge is very helpful
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to use a smart phone/tablet to communicate with fellow staff and supervisors daily as needed
- Be able to pass a background check
- Have a valid driver's license, driving experience and MVR which meets insurance eligibility requirements
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Class C driver license
- Maintain valid driver license with acceptable driving record and current certifications
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year sales experience
Physical Requirements:
- Use power/manual pallet jack and hand truck when required
- Lift/carry/push/pull 35 lbs. repetitively and up to 165 lbs.
- Bend/stoop/crouch/squat
- Use arms/wrists/hands/grasp
- Get into and out of sales/delivery vehicle
- Drive a long range of miles to cover sales territory
- Work indoors and outdoors in various temperatures
