What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, People position at PointCard™?
Point is hiring a Manager, People to join the growing People & Talent Team. As we plan for significant scaling, we need a stellar People team to support our employees. This role can be based in either San Francisco or NYC and will report into our Head of People who is based in NYC.
Point is building consumer payments infrastructure for the premium economy. We've raised over $60M from the likes of Peter Thiel's Valar Ventures, Y Combinator, Jim Breyer, and others.
This role can be based in either San Francisco or NYC.
You will
- Oversee and build smooth, engaging on-boarding programs
- Manage administrative workflow such as employee status changes, benefits and leave, and payroll through our PEO in collaboration with Finance team
- Develop infrastructure and clear work-flows that ensure compliance and deliver an excellent employee experience
- Optimize systems and tools to account for hyper-growth. Identify gaps in our processes and and find new ways to improve employee experience
- Establish relationships with employees and managers to provide guidance and be a trusted resource at the company
- Partner with Operations and IT to create and execute programs and initiatives to connect employees in a hybrid environment
- Work with Legal team to ensure policies are up to date and we are in compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Partner with Head of People to develop learning management and training programs
You have
- 3 years of experience in HR/People Operations
- Deep HRIS knowledge, preferably experience with Rippling
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the HR function (such as: benefits, compensation, performance management, and recruitment)
- Able to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Extreme attention to detail
