About the job
Polo Care Inc is looking for compassionate Home Health Aides to provide care in a patient population under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or a certified nursing assistant (CNA).
Qualifications
- Successful of completion of a NYS Department of Health/Department of Education approved Home Health Aide training program as demonstrated by a valid HHA Certificate.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English sufficiently to understand and interpret the HHA plan of care, document care provided on the HHA Time and Activity Report and able to call agency to report change and/or issues related to the patients and/or 911 in case of an emergency.
- Ability to follow established safety rules and procedures as well as follow directions from staff members.
- Good communication skills with the ability to be independent when providing direct care in patients.
- Willingness to learn and be trained on various health care procedures.
- Provide home health care services under the direction of a RN.
