About the role:
Technician is responsible for ensuring the production line runs efficiently with high product quality standards. Technician is a key contributor to the continuous improvement of critical plant performance metrics in the areas of safety, productivity, cost, quality and sustainability.
What you will do:
- Adhere to requirements of working in a clean room environment
- Use complex drawings, diagrams or blueprints as reference
- Manufacture products within close tolerances
- Maintain records as required for yield, quality, etc.
- Move and transport raw material and finished product
- Assist operator in loading machines, positioning, setting up and running production jobs in cleanroom environment (if applicable)
- Make adjustments or operate machines under immediate direction from Lead, Engineer, or Manager
- Manufacture products or sub-assemblies with narrow tolerances
- Maintain records as required for yield, quality, etc. in writing and/or computer
- Perform quality inspections on finished product
- Follow safety requirements of the equipment and processes in assigned areas
Qualifications
Who you are:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in basic machine operations, manufacturing or clean room setting
- Cross-trained on 3-5 job skills
- Effectively work independent with minimum support at setup
- Begin and complete tasks within given timelines
