What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Pomegranate Market?

As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for implementing workflow procedures based on direction from the General Manager. Assist in supervising employees during day-to-day tasks, providing customer support in escalated situations, managing the overall workflow of the workplace.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Assist in scheduling and coordinate meetings
- Conduct employee performance reviews
- Develop good customer service relationships
- Participate in recruitment and dismissal process
- Address & resolve conflict within the workplace
- Address employee and customer concerns
- Email and phone correspondence
- Provide direction to staff
- Fill in for General Manager in times of absence. Make executive decisions, hold meetings, and provide accountability
- Troubleshoot POS system
- Support team members in training while developing new skills
- Foster a respectful and inclusive environment
- Help with staff scheduling and covering store in times of need
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager

Starting pay is $20-$30/hr, dependent upon experience w/a 90 day introductory period.
