About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Franchise Development, the Franchise Development Specialist will assist the Franchise Development Team through the sales & onboarding process with new franchise candidates. Responsibilities include candidate recruiting, screening, follow up and reporting. The ideal candidate is very organized and has the ability to multitask. The Franchise Sales Coordinator will work with various members of the Development Team as well as others within and outside of Pinch A Penny as needed to support the successful transition of franchise candidates to franchise owners. The position has growth potential into a manager role.
Responsibilities:
- Support the achievement of New and Resale Franchise Sales goals.
- Must have good phone skills for building rapport with existing and potential franchisees.
- Ability to efficiently screen leads and schedule appointments with the sales team.
- Ability to effectively work with a CRM.
- Maintain and update communication templates.
- Maintain and update department reports.
- Assist the Franchise Development Sales process with reviewing applications, producing candidate files and hosting Discovery Days.
- Ensure applications are fully completed and all supporting documentation is provided, conduct credit and background checks during file creation process.
- Ensure all required paperwork throughout the process is completed correctly and properly.
- Ensure all legal compliance issues are always followed.
- Support the Franchise Development team with all facets of the opening process for new locations.
- Prepare and review pipeline reports and assist with projection reports.
- Interact with other departments directly or indirectly involved with the development process to coordinate information flow (i.e., legal, accounting, etc.)
- Ability to work with mapping software.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve, and prepare facilities.
- Travel as needed for various events and meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and other relevant software including word-processing, spreadsheet, mapping and presentation software.
- Sales Experience: 1-3 years (Preferred)
- High school diploma is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Business or related preferred, or applicable professional work experience in a commensurate role.
