This is a full-time on-site position located in Woodland, WA. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, 7 paid holidays (after 90 days of service), and generous PTO accruals from day one!
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Set up incoming and outgoing freight and verify full compliance prior to receiving and releasing of raw, work in process, finished goods, and any other packaging materials including supplies needed for production.
- Train, implement, document and constantly verify all safety, food safety and quality requirements.
- Work with scheduler to ensure proper manning schedule to meet material handling production requirements.
- Work with departmental management staff to ensure all food safety and quality issues are brought to appropriate department manager’s attention, reviewed, and handled through applicable food safety and quality program requirements.
- Work with customer service as needed to ensure proper lines of communication involving all product within material handling department.
- Work with Maintenance Manager involving any maintenance needs within material handling department.
- Complete reviews for all employees within material handling department, reviewing with Plant Manager.
- Actively participate in CAPA Program.
- Actively participate in Recall Program.
- Continuous improvement of all current material handling processes.
- Work with Compliance for all regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Other tasks as assigned.

- Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
- Ability to plan and organize effectively.
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Understand and use basic office equipment and programs.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in a management position
- 5 years shipping/receiving experience
- 5 years forklift experience
- Experience with ERP systems
