Summary
The Corporate Transactional Paralegal (“CTP”) is a Paralegal who works alongside and reports to the Director of Legal Ops to help direct and support all departments in the company regarding legal issues. In this role, the CTP will play an integral role in supporting our legal department with various corporate and transactional matters including: contract administration; developing, tracking, and reporting on legal processes; entity management; assist with transactional and financing matters; and support attorneys and other members of the Legal Department on a variety of matters. This position will require an individual to think on their feet, be detail oriented and organized, maintain frequent and detailed communications with the legal team, and have an overarching desire for success. The CTP will report directly to the Director of Legal Ops.
Essential Job Functions
- Collaborate with attorneys to prepare and review documents for a variety of transactional matters.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Maintain and organize legal files, ensuring accurate and efficient documentation management.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of contract review workflows.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and partners within the legal department as well as other business departments to gather information.
- Update and maintain internal databases and trackers, categorize and interpret data, and review and analyze reports.
- Assisting in due diligence and document review for corporate transactions and other contract related matters.
- Assist in review of NDAs, contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Coordinating meetings and conference calls, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Project management, task tracking, calendaring, and follow up.

- Proficient in Google Suite products. This is the company’s main platform.

- Ability to navigate through a fast-paced, dynamic environment while juggling priorities and deadlines.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Paralegal role.
- Previous legal experience preferred in the areas of transactional and corporate law.
