Post Investment Group (“Post”) is a Beverly Hills, California based privately-held holding company with a diverse set of business interests. We invest both passively and actively. As active investors we take a controlling interest in companies, often partnering with seasoned entrepreneurs helping them realize their vision and achieve their potential. As a vertically integrated company, we have an operations team with in-house legal, accounting, finance, technology, marketing and human resource capabilities. Our business interests are predominantly focused in the following areas: Real Estate, Real Estate Services, Health and Wellness, and Consumer Products. This position will be primarily dedicated to the people support of the Consumer Products entity.
Essential Functions:
- Coordination of recruitment & staffing, hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
- Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.
- Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
- Handles and resolves employee relations issues such as complaints and allegations; conducting investigations when necessary
- Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
- Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and 401k, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Solid working knowledge of leaves of absence and workers compensation
- Assists with unemployment claims, wage garnishments and workers' compensation claims
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs in conjunction with HR Manager
- Up-to-date on all federal and state HR related law/regulations & compliance
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
- Conducts leadership/educational development training for employees and local management team
- Performs other job-related projects and duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong Generalist with experience with recruiting & onboarding, employee relations, leadership development, insurance and benefits administration, and payroll
- Experience in payroll processing (preferred)
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Excellent writing, computer and communication skills
- English and Spanish speaker preferred not mandatory
Benefits
- Salary Range: $70-80K target range, with some flexibility based on experience, and a year end discretionary bonus
