Todaywe are hiring a Maintenance Controls Technician for our client InOxford NC.

As part of the MaintenanceTeam you will be working to deliver solutions to improve ourprocess reliability product quality and plantwideperformance.

Some of the duties ofthe instrumentation and control technicianare :

• Consultingdiagrams and technical documentation such as schematics manualsstandards and codes;
• Maintaining backup andrevision documentation for control systems andinstrumentation;
• Manage SCADA type devices in an industrialbased environment
• Installing configuringcalibrating and maintaining control measurement and indicatinginstrumentation (pneumatic analog &digital);
• Configuring and programmingProgrammable Logic Controls ( PLC ) andProgrammable Automation Controllers( PAC );
• Organizeand order PLC control components in order to maintain plant processcontrol systems.
• Work with corporate IT staffas required with miscellaneous network and computeractivities.
• Must be able to prepare technicalreports for documenting issues / changes toequipment.
• Must be able to manage projects forimplementing changes and improvements.
• Employeemust be willing to be on call to support productionneeds.
• Installing and terminating electricalpneumatic and fluid connections;
• Inspecting andtesting the operation of instruments and systems to diagnosefaults;
• Removing repairing adjusting andreplacing components;
• Calibrating componentsand systems;
• Maintaining various computerbasedcontrol systems;
• Performing scheduledmaintenance programs; and
• Keeping uptodate withadvances in technology in industry and thetrade.

Some of theinstruments include transmitters analyzers sensors detectors signalconditioners recorders controllers and final control elements.

Theyare used in industry to measure and control variables such aspressure flow temperature level motion force and chemicalcomposition.
