The Technical Writer role involves producing and maintaining critical documentation such as installation instructions, manuals, technical bulletins, and labels. This position will work with various departments to author clear and concise instructions, format documents, manage updates, and coordinate projects.

Essential Functions

• Produce and maintain installation instructions, operating manuals, technical bulletins, procedural documentation, and e-documents.
• Organize engineering data into clear instructions for end-users.
• Author and format written instructions, import and format drawings, and perform updates to existing documents.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to understand and articulate technical requirements and coordinate projects effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of technical writing or related experience.
• Strong technical aptitude and writing skills.
• Essential experience with Adobe Creative Suite and SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with Bartender software by Seagull Scientific for label creation or similar applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications or related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with online publishing is beneficial.
• Knowledge of safety equipment is a plus, but not necessary.

This is a full-time position, on-site at the corporate facility. A hybrid work format will be an option after thorough understanding of the position. The hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. An occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate business needs.

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel

This job operates in a professional business office or home office where standard office equipment is routinely used, such as computers, photocopy machines, fax machines, telephones and filing cabinets. This position is largely a sedentary role. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
