GAM Marketing and Proposal Development Coordinator
POWER Engineers, Inc., is currently seeking a Marketing and Proposal Development Coordinator for the Geospatial and Asset Management (GAM) Business Unit in our Boise, Idaho, office.
This is a professional-level part-time position working closely with the Marketing and Proposal lead coordinating the production and delivery of proposals, qualification packages and marketing materials to respond to client requests. The assistant coordinator will also be responsible for assisting with tasks to coordinate and implement the business unit’s annual marketing plan.
Activities may include assisting with writing articles, newsletters, and press releases, managing website content, creating marketing collateral, driving social media content, ad placement, and coordinating trade show exhibits and related promotional efforts.
This part-time position may have the potential to move to full-time after 6-months to a year.
Required Education/Experience
- Associates degree or equivalent 2 years work experience, with preference to majors in English, Communications, Journalism and Marketing, Computer Science, or similar
- High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and follow-through
- Demonstrated skills coordinating diverse groups of people
- Effective time management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Able to handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks based on shifting needs
- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills using a variety of media
- Experience with standard office software
- Able to work regular business hours, 8 am – 5 pm, with occasional overtime, alone or in a team
- Social media management
- Coordinate with business unit to assist with developing press releases, articles and marketing material.
- Keeps marketing materials ready by coordinating requirements with graphics and business unit.
- Coordinates trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating booth requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.

- Software/IT/GIS consulting/technical industry
