We are looking for an experienced sales professional to help us with our expansion in the Grand Rapids area. This is a very exciting time for PowerVac of Michigan as we are expanding to be able to serve more customers across the state of Michigan.
PowerVac of Michigan and ServicePro are the most trusted names in Commercial Service and Maintenance. We are a unified company that provides a ONE STOP source for maintenance to provide installation, service and repair for all building systems. Our services include plumbing, drains and sewers; electrical power, lighting, and data; HVAC and boilers; grease traps and interceptors and storm drains, catch basins and detention ponds.
In the sales role you will actively sell our services. You will track leads and follow up, maintain current clients and build new relationships.

Sales Representative Responsibilities
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations
- Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generations
- Builds and manages relationships with existing and prospective customers to maximize sales
- Prepare quotes for customers
- Problem solves by partnering with other key players within the company
- Be the “go-to” person throughout entirety of projects
- Use creative solutions to accomplish all customers’ needs within schedule constraints
- Use CRM and other sales applications.
- Support manager with company expansion
Sales Representative Qualifications
- Industry experience in Jet / Vac, hydro-excavation, plumbing, HVAC and/or electrical required
- Proven track record with building customer relationships in the Grand Rapids area
- Experience developing local market
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with a diverse team
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree required in construction management, business management or related field
