What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at PowerSecure, Inc.?
PowerSecure is currently seeking a Estimator to join our EPC Construction team.
You should enjoy and thrive working inside a fast-paced environment. This is a "desk" position that requires you to be in front of the computer, on the phone and juggling interactions with colleagues. Great opportunity to make a huge impact with a growing company! Remote work is an option.
Requirements
- High School Diploma is required
- 3 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical industry (may include project management, estimating and or field experience)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft products such as: Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings and other documents to perform takeoffs on projects
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to learn and become proficient in company ERP system and estimation software
- Demonstrates impeccable customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Previous estimating experience is preferred
