Summary:

The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the New Stage Gate NPI development process to help ensure delivery of annual operating goals derived from new product introduction or cost reduction activity to align with corporate goals and objectives. You will be responsible for tracking the delivery of product to schedule as well as tracking financial targets to budget.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and refine the new process to ensure it aligns with business needs and delivers desired outcomes
  • Build overall schedule to align with functional leadership for project execution
  • Schedule gate review meetings with stakeholders to gain approval for moving product into next phase of project execution
  • Manage all deviations and refine gate documentation through the NPI process, become an expert based on learnings and findings
  • Manage complex medium to large-scale programs and projects
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with expected results for revenue and cost per AOP
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and define product capabilities and be able to clearly articulate them to all levels of the organization
  • Initiate and manage financial attractiveness, feature prioritization, and feature definition for products
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Customer Success, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure all stages of the process are complete for formal reviews. This will include any change management with product introduction
  • Train and educate the organization on the new stage gate process. Refine the process as it evolves and keep a continuous improvement mindset to align with changing business needs
  • Define and track key metrics for leading the overall effectiveness of the process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration, or related fields
  • 10 years of experience in program management and product development
  • Experience with managing complex medium to large-scale programs and projects on development and implementation
  • Attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, efficient organizational skills, and the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice
  • Ability to anticipate issues before they occur and work toward a solution by building consensus within the project team
  • Experience with product management for customer/associate facing applications
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment to deliver results
  • Ability to work independently as well as alongside a team
  • Detail-orientated with strong planning, organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and an ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Ability to work well under pressure with excellent prioritizing skills
  • Ability to collaborate with excellent prioritizing skills
  • Bi-lingual Chinese or Spanish is preferred
