POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer of Property, Insurance and Transportation, the PSMA Warehouse Manager is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, supervision of volunteer staff and staff activities The Warehouse Manager position will be responsible for managing the flow of donation materials from the point of pickup of donation to the point of deliver or pickup.. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management and supply chain operations. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with other outside agencies and community partners to ensure that materials are available when needed and that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provides overall supervision of volunteer and staff activities and schedules, office administration, inventory, and budget.
- Supervises the warehouse staff, office supervisor as well as all volunteers and all others in furtherance of volunteer and mission activities.
- Conducts recruitment, training, and placement of volunteers; establishes tasks and responsibilities; establishes volunteer and staff work schedules; monitors and evaluates performance.
- Supervises donation policies and procedures, warehouse intake/outgoing inventory and distribution.
- Ensures compliance of established office operations and hours.
- Coordinates with departmental heads to develop financial plans and ensure PPEP-wide compliance.
- Prepares and manages the operational budget.
- Establishes and maintains effective and positive communication with PPEP leadership, volunteers, staff, and organizational partners and entities.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage the flow of donations from the pickup of origin to the point of distribution.
- Maintain inventory levels at optimal levels.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Prepare reports to comply with grants, funding sources and requirements.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of warehouse management experience and understanding of warehouse management OR any combination of work experience, education, or professional training, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- 3 years program management and proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills along with strong people skills.
- Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to operate forklift effectively.
- Valid drivers' license.
Physical Demands: The employee is required to:
- Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
- Exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently
- Exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Working Conditions: The employee is subject to:
- Physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts
- Breathing fumes, dust, and mist ‑ skin exposure to oils and cutting fluid
- Must be able to drive a vehicle and/or travel as required.
The employee may be required to follow other job‑related instructions and to perform other job‑related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.

- Day shift

- Weekends as needed.
