What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Business Partner position at PPG Careers Careers?
As an HR Business Partner for the AC USCA West zone, you will be a trusted advisor to main leaders on the Architectural Coatings USCA team, while maintaining a business focus to help implement business strategies. You will undertake special projects that allow the leaders to create necessary organizational infrastructure (people, roles, organizational design) to create and grow a new specialized team within the company. This position can be either remote or onsite in Cranberry, PA.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Global Transformation and Process Management Organization (GTPMO) leadership team
- Translate the business/ functional and corporate strategies into the HR agenda, enabled by data and analytics.
- Partner with leaders to create the right organizational design in consideration of our strategy.
- Define roles and responsibilities required in the business and source these internally and externally. Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition CoE to create a recruitment strategy for the zone; ensure right talent is hired at right time and at the right cost, sourcing both internal and external candidates.
- Collaborate with other HRBPs to position this organization as a destination for new insights and career enhancement for our current employees.
- Partner with HRBPs across the AC USCA zones.Advise on Policy and Employee Relations issues including resolving issues; refer to Employee Relations/Labor Relations COE where needed to lead and close investigations.
- Provide leadership to important AC USCA leaders to infuse diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles and practices into our ways of operating to build a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Collaborate with HR Leaders to implement annual talent processes (e.g., annual talent assessment, rewards, and executive succession and talent planning processes).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, required in Human Resources or related field. Masters' degree in an HR-related field or PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
- 8 years of Human Resources experience; prefer high level of expertise in specialist areas including organizational development, recruitment, talent development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities; able to work with employees at all levels of the organization and move from strategic to tactical with ease.
